
Meet Maureen Browne
B.A, H.Dip.(Ed) Primary, H.Dip.(Ed) Secondary, M.A (Ethnomusicology.), M.A (M.T), IACAT.
Maureen is a qualified Music Therapist and Holistic Practitioner with extensive clinical experience across healthcare, educational, and community-based settings. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice, professional ethics, and a client-centred therapeutic framework.

She holds a First Class Honours Master’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Limerick, in addition to a Master’s degree in Ethnomusicology and a qualification in education. Her multidisciplinary background informs a structured and integrative approach to therapeutic care.

Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and developmentally attuned. Music therapy interventions may include active music-making, improvisation, receptive listening, songwriting, and verbal processing, depending on client needs and therapeutic goals.
